Industrialization of Data Migration

Data migration is a critical success factor for global SAP rollout programs: Data must be quickly and reliably migrated from a large number of systems in parallel rollout waves, then converted and harmonized. The new SAP general ledger cannot simply be introduced in passing. It is heavily dependent on processes in FI/CO and the integrated modules of the SAP system. Instead of rigid migration scenarios, we offer flexible solutions aligned to the specific requirements of our customers and provide comprehensive support throughout the entire project – with go lives during the year and the transformation of historical data – using our own standard software, cbs ET Enterprise Transformer®.

Successful Data Transformations Using Databases (SLO)

The standard software cbs Enterprise Transformer® transforms data directly within the SAP database. Unlike conventional migration tools, there are absolutely no technical restrictions. It is therefore possible to transform an enterprise’s entire data history and modify as desired. The enterprise can freely choose the time of the data transformation as there is no dependence on fiscal year (which is the case with conventional methods). With our near-zero downtime procedures, operational disruptions are a thing of the past: The downtime for a transformation can be reduced from one to two days to a few hours.
