Our favourite playground is the SAP Business Technology Platform. Cumbersome installation and licensing of software components as in the on-premise world? Not necessary. It’s all about trying out new technologies on the BTP on a usage basis and thinking about new technical possibilities together with the specialist department on the basis of concrete processes – entirely in the sense of co-creation and design thinking. We are basically talking about multi-cloud, because this allows you to flexibly select and combine the platforms that are suitable for your individual needs, such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure. Our solutions are thus relatively independent of the concrete SAP backend. In this way, we offer fast innovations and investment security at the same time.

With our special expertise in the area of SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Cloud SDK and User Experience, we extend the SAP core processes of ERP or S/4HANA with innovative components such as machine learning and image recognition and bring them to mobile devices for production employees, business partners and end customers.

The following solutions are a small selection of our more than 100 apps. We focus on industrial customers from the pharmaceutical, chemical, mechanical engineering and automotive industries.

Cloud-based solution for confirmation of arrival: Entry Certificate Solution

Companies with a German VAT ID can deliver physical goods VAT-free from Germany across borders to other countries in the European Union. The supplier must use a Gelangensbestätigung (GLB) or Entry Certificate (EC) to prove that the goods have entered the EU country. The cbs Entry Certificate Solution designed by our experts works like this: The transport document or subsequent documents such as an invoice trigger the creation of the EC. The EC document is generated with a link to the delivery note. The document is managed in the cbs solution, which waits for confirmation from external parties such as forwarders, end customers or parcel services.

Business partners are automatically included in the solution as the solution lists all relevant shipments. Business partners confirm the certificate of receipt with a web-based solution without cumbersome IT integration. The app is fully mobile-ready and PDFs can be generated. Additional integration of customer-specific formats of entry certificates is supported, and the dunning process is also fully supported.

cbs inventory solution on SAP Fiori

The cbs inventory solution is optimised for both material management and warehouse management inventory and covers posting-specific differences in the SAP backend system in a fully integrated manner. Company-specific features can be integrated without much effort. Counting materials is made easier by the application’s simple operation and clear design. Inventory takes place faster and is less prone to errors. The application is optimised for any type of mobile device. Material as well as serial and batch numbers can be scanned and posted directly. Another plus: the inventory cockpit. It is used for the clear control of the inventory. Further advantages: The app can be used on all devices or platforms (desktop, Android and iOS) and is always connected to your SAP system. So you always have a real-time status of the inventories.

cbs Production Planning auf SAP Fiori

This cbs app shows the production planner all production orders that are planned for the selected period. All relevant information is available at a glance. The planning calendar is provided dynamically via the shift programme stored in SAP and the factory calendar. The planner can simply drag and drop the production orders onto the desired time slots and schedule them. For example, the app provides information on the missing parts situation, whether critical parts are included for production or the configuration – for both already scheduled and unscheduled orders. Functions such as real-time ATP checking, reading master data or printing order papers can be carried out directly from the app. The status of the individual orders is visually displayed for the planner and the planner receives all relevant information at a glance.

cbs Quality Assurance Suite on SAP Fiori

This consulting solution completely maps the quality assurance processes in production. The app was primarily aimed at companies that produce in series with a high number of variants. The solution is based on the SAP quality management module (QM) and uses its standard functionalities. As a result, the solution is fully integrated. The user interface is based on SAP Fiori and consists of the following applications: Serial Number Capture, Checklist, Notification Creation, Defect Management and Rework Management. The current production status is clearly displayed via Andon boards.

Another component of quality assurance is the serial number entry app, which is used to record the installed components of a device, such as a vehicle. With the message creation app, quality problems can also be recorded quickly and easily. All information is determined directly from the SAP system via the production order.
